My Favorite Oatmeal

Bring  2 Cups Water and 3/4 Cup Whole Milk to a low boil. Add pinch of sea salt.
Add 1 1/2 Cups Rolled Oats and reduce heat to simmer.
Simmer about 10-15 minutes (less if you're cooking less oats) until soft. Stir often.
Add sliced fruit (berries, peaches, etc), cinnamon and/or honey to taste.  Sometimes I even add sliced almonds or chopped walnuts.


Tip:  If you want to add apples, slice them and throw them in with the oats. It makes them warm and soft.
